Realization: Look Back!

I was in Marikina Polytechnic College to assist my nephew for his enrollment. As we pass through the entrance, the first thought that came to my mind was, the population of the enrollees are minimal compared to Technological Institute of the Philippines in Quezon City, were I took my four years in higher level of education.

MPC is one of the public state here in Marikina that accepts student with a lesser tuition fees. Though it is patronize by different students from high school, the standard and education system of this college is really good. Back in May 2009, I was also one of those struggling teenagers who passed the college entrance exam. I was fortunate then, but I chose to left the opportunity and went to TIPQC.

I never regret in choosing TIPQC than other colleges. Though I have tons of complains about the school policies and its surroundings, I will always be glad to be part of it. The professors I've met in that school taught a lots of things that I still value and practice.

No matter what path you chooses and which stairs you're about to climb, just remember the importance of looking back to where you comes from. You're not what you are right now, If not because of those things and experiences.

Women's Issue: Messy Hairlaluu

As I woke up this morning and looked at the mirror, I can't help but frown. I looked like a shit. A messy hair all over my face, I remember I tied up it last night because of unbelievable heat due of summer season. Only to wake up with this!

But come to think of it, why some gals tries to very beauty for other people's eyes? I mean, you'll beautify yourself, thats awesome, but why not do it just for yourself? Some even uses heavy make up just to hide their fears of being dislike. They feel confident once they walk out wearing fitted and less cloth that shows too much skin. When in fact you don't have to do those just to call yourself beautiful.

Natural beauty is an amazing thing. Yeah, we all understand that you also want to look great, so am I. But why use excessive tools just to look pretty.

Be confident on what you have. Wear those oversized shirts, tied up your hair, walk out with no make up and just be damn beautiful. In your own ways.

Architecture: Wright's Falling Water

Are you an avid fan of Frank Llyod Wright, one of the greatest Architect in the history? Well, I am.

Frank Llyod Wright was an Organic Architect. He prioritize the existance of nature and bend to his design. One of his works that are very popular because of its flexibility in adapting the surroundings, is the Falling Water.

I am very fascinated about the design of this house, from exterior to interior. I found a certain site that shows the inside look of Falling Water house.

It has very traditional design with a twist because of its natural materials. Falling Water is one of the visited place and I am also looking forward too see it personally.

Architecture: Nocturnal Life

I was in my freshmen when the senior Architecture student in our school, called ourselves, a 'Sleepless Heroes'. I was proud and feeling really great to claim that title.

As I grow older and I've experience lots of things in our field, I have realized that it is possible for us to have a normal sleep even we're in the field of Architecture.

In my early years in college, cramming was really my thing. I tried to stay awake and do my really best to enlighten my ideas in the middle of the night. There were also a times when you have to go to school, no sleep and feeling exhausted, just to pass or attend something.

Time management is the key. You can actually manage your schedule by prioritizing important things than other stuffs. Though it sounds difficult because of several distractions, you can still do it, with flying colors. Hoho.

Take down notes all the needed things to do, then cross out the task you finish. Proceed then to another task. Close all the distractions like Facebook, Twitter and others. Just focus focus focus and you don't have to be nocturnal anymore.

K? Goodnight.

Architecture: Be Different

Don't just be another brick in the wall.

In Design, be diffirent. Don't settle for just good. Have a goal. Aim high. Explore, play the lines and make some changes.

On The Way

"When someone leaves, its because someone else is about to arrive" -unknown

Before, I was feeling hopeless and really frustrated whenever I don't have any special someone. I would even ask myself, what is actually wrong with me. Now I've realized that being so 'atat' is the problem.

At the moment, I am enjoying my life as a single person. No romantic relationship. No stress. No pressure. No arguing. An awesome feeling. It seems that, I have all my control. But asider from that, I know that I have to stay single because I have to learn to love myself more.

Just like on my perspective in a friendship. I lost some of them, my friends who are really dear to me. It feels painful and I can't forget about it. Then somebody told me that, better people will come.

There's a reason behind those leaving and someone new will show up. A new friend or even new friends, and maybe a special someone too. I will just have to wait patiently. ♥

Houses Used for Korean Drama

Johnny Lee's House in City Hunter

Kim Tan's House in The Heirs

Do Min Joon's Unit in My Love From Another Stars

Do Min Joon's Another Star

I just finish watching the My Love From Another Star, a Korean Drama starring Jun Jin Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun.

The story is about an Alien (a very handsome one), Do Min Joon, that stucked on earth for 400 years and fall in love with a Korean Celebrity, Cheon Song Yi.

I don't wanna spoil the fun for those people who still watching it via GMA 7, so I won't share all the details about it. Haha. I just can't help but laughed then cry then laughed again while staring at the screen.

If you are an avid fan of those Asian Novelas that has a Romantic Comedy genre, I recommend this one. Try it and love it just like what I did. ♥

Architecture: Skillful Hands

I start using Google Sketchup Pro in 2011. I was a bit scared to move the mouse to explore the software. Then step by step I learn to do simple model thru it.

I still remember how envy I am to my other classmates that can manipulate SU (Sketchup) greatly. They even applied VRAY to their model. They do those like a pro. In those I secretly practice at home, watched Youtube tutorials on how to do this and that perpectly. I aim to surpass the skills they have and proudly post it on my social media accounts, just like what they're doin.

I was obssessed on learning those stuffs until I was became a part of Matrix Design. I met the people there, they taught me different things and I've realized that those softwares are important in our field, yet it will be a waste If you focus yourself too much.
In Architecture, the most valuable thing is the design. It is the mother of all the arts so it should be the best among the rest. Then planning and conceptualizations follows. Our leader used to tell me that our skills in drawings and designing are the important key to our profession and being updated to technology is just a bonus.

I still want to learn more. I practice often, but both in computerized and manually. Sketch your ideas, do the drafts then encode it thru different softwares. Enchancing and maintaining your abilities in Architecture is a must.
